RESTORATION | CAMPER CONVERSION
From February 2019 to today, our Defender has undergone quite a few conversions. First, we mostly traveled as a couple, so we slept inside the car. In 2021, Mila was born and since we were occasionally on the road with Lu, my older son, as well we decided to buy a roof tent. It served us well for two seasons, but due to several reasons and the fact that Leo was born in January 2024, we decided to invest in converting our roof into a pop-top roof in 2023. In our humble opinion we now have the perfect setup for family overland trips. In this chapter, you can read everything about the above-mentioned conversions from February 2019 until today.
